Hi, I'm Susan McFadden!
I've been happily married to my husband, John, for more than 55 years and am a retired OT. I loved helping children learn through play, and that love of teaching has found a new home through paper crafting.
I became an Independent Stampin' Up!® demonstrator in 2016, but I've enjoyed making handmade cards and paper crafts for many years. One of my greatest joys is helping someone who says, “I'm not creative," discover they really can make something beautiful.
I often tell my classes: “There are no mistakes in paper crafting—just opportunities for creativity!”
There's nothing quite like seeing someone smile and say, "Ohhh… I get it now!" after learning a new technique or finishing a project they didn't think they could make.
For me, paper crafting is about so much more than stamps, ink, and paper. It's about encouraging a friend, celebrating life's milestones, expressing sympathy, and letting someone know they're loved. A handmade card is a simple way to share a little piece of your heart.
When I'm not in my craft room, I enjoy traveling, tending my flower garden, and finding beauty in the simple things. I'm also a planner at heart (even if my craft room doesn't always look that way!).
Whether you're brand new to stamping or have been crafting for years, I'd love to help you create something you'll be proud to share.
Welcome! I hope you'll look around, find a little inspiration, and join me for a class sometime.
